EQUIPMENT PURCHASE / STUDIO INSTALLATION

We have acted in an advisory and purchasing capacity for individuals setting up their own recording studios and live P.A systems and educational establishments who need to buy audio equipment for training purposes. We can also build and install bespoke audio PC’s, including software and hardware configuration and set-up. We also source and test high quality second-hand items if you have a specific item that you need, such as a mixing desk or monitor system.

DOC'S PRO-PLUGS

We fit and supply Doc's Pro-Plugs. These are designed with musicians in mind and we have found them to be very effective in live performance and rehearsal situations as well as for live sound engineering work. The vented earplugs have a small hole in them which allows a decently balanced mix of sound through, allows you to hear both music and speech, but attenuates the sound level by -20 decibels. They are washable and have a lifespan of about a year with regular useage. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods and are unobtrusive in appearance, unlike many other brands of ear protection. As there are several different sizes to suit different ears, please contact the studio on 07939 158633 and we can arrange a time for you to try the fitting kit and decide which ones are suitable for you. They cost £15.00 or less per pair, depending on the number of units ordered.

EQUIPMENT FOR SALE

Currently Make Some Noise Studio has the following items for sale. SOUNDCRAFT 200SR MIXING DESK. This is a small format, vintage soundcraft modular mixing desk in an 8-4-2 configuration. It is in good working order and is easy to work on / modify should you wish to do so - check the threads on Jim Williams / Audio Upgrades on the Gearslutz forum: www.gearslutz.com for more information on these desks and how they can be upgraded.We are  looking for £220.00 o.n.o for this desk.

We have two professional flightcases for mixing desks available. They are both aluminium ABS touring grade padded cases. One is suitable for small format 10-16 channel desks such as the Mackie VLZ 1604 & Onyx ranges, the larger case would be suitable for  16-24 channel desks such as the Allen & Heath GL range and Soundcraft LX7 and GB8 desks. The price for the smaller case is £50.00 o.n.o, and the larger case £100.00 o.n.o.
